4 Months Until “I Do”: My Pre-Wedding Glow-Up Plan
I can hardly believe it — the Bachelorette party is over, and in just four months, I’ll be walking down the aisle and saying “I do” to forever. It feels surreal, exciting, and if I’m being honest… a little overwhelming! But in the best way.
As the big day gets closer, I’ve been focusing more and more on taking care of myself, not just to look my best, but to feel my best when I step into that dress and lock eyes with my partner at the altar. So I thought I’d share a little bit about what I’ve been doing to prepare, from fitness and nutrition to my favorite beauty treatments.
Prioritizing My Health and Wellness
First and foremost, I’ve committed to a healthier lifestyle. I’ve been more consistent than ever with my workouts, mixing strength training, cardio, and some good old-fashioned walks in the sunshine. Not only is it helping me tone up, but it's been such a great outlet for stress relief during the craziness of wedding planning.
On the nutrition side, I’m making more mindful choices — eating more whole foods, cutting back on sugar, and staying hydrated. As I mentioned in previous posts, I am receiving treatments at Ridge Med Spa & Suites. They offer Semaglutide treatment to provide an extra boost for weight loss. As a bride who is extremely busy planning, I know I want to feel and look my best on my wedding day, and you should too! Semaglutide is a great option to help with your weight loss journey before the big day!
My Med Spa Secret Weapons
Speaking of Ridge Med Spa (which has become my second home lately), I’ve been treating myself to some beauty treatments that are making a huge difference in how I look and feel.
Botox: A little preventative smoothing has gone a long way in softening fine lines and giving my face a refreshed, youthful look. I love how natural it looks — like I just got back from a really good nap. It will also help with smooth application of makeup on the big day!
Chemical Peels: These have been a game changer for my skin. With every treatment, I’ve noticed a more even tone, brighter complexion, and fewer breakouts. I want that wedding-day glow, and these treatments are helping me get there.
My goal isn’t to look like a different person — it’s to be the best, most radiant version of me. These treatments have helped boost my confidence and made me feel more excited (and less anxious!) about being the center of attention on the big day.
The Countdown Continues
With four months to go, I know time is going to fly. There’s still so much to do — dress fittings, finalizing details, writing vows — but I’m doing my best to stay present and enjoy the process. This is such a special chapter in my life, and I’m so grateful I get to share it with all of you.
If you’re a bride-to-be too, just remember: your glow comes from the inside and the outside. Take care of yourself, celebrate the little wins, and don’t be afraid to treat yourself to whatever helps you feel your best. You deserve it.
Stay tuned — I’ll be sharing more updates as the big day gets closer!
